Maya T. (Rutgers 2023)

Hi, my name is Maya and I’m excited to be a part of Troy Tutors’ expansion to Rutgers!

Some of my favorite experiences at Rutgers aside from tutoring include being a peer reviewer for the Aresty RURJ and working in a research lab at RWJMS where I completed my senior thesis on genetic interactions of mitosis related proteins in fission yeast. I’m currently working as a Research Assistant at the Hospital for Special Surgery!

I have been involved in tutoring throughout high school and college. At Rutgers, I was a tutor for the SASHP for two years, did private tutoring occasionally, and was a supplemental instructor for ODASIS. I love that tutoring helps me stay refreshed on the material while being able to help other students! Looking forward to working with you :)
